Amalesh Banerjee Dr. Amalesh Banerjee is well-known for his extensive writing of monetary economics. He contributed over three decades in many conferences and seminars at the national and international leval. He has a number of publications in the field of monetary and development economics. Currently he is the Guest of the Faculty of Economics of Jadavpur University. Formerly he was the Head of the Department and Professor of Economics at Rabindra Bharati University. Dr. Banerjee is a distinguished member of many associations of social science at national and international level. He is the President of Bengal Economic Association and the Vice-President of Indian Economic Association.
